COP Committee Report – October, 2011
The last report from the COP Committee was June, 2011. Our next meeting was on August 17th and the focus was on the Aberfoyle Fall Fair. With our Family Violence Presentation Night to be presented on November 9th, we have been making use of several opportunities to spread the word: the Fall Fair, Nestle Waters Open House, the Aberfoyle Market and the Fire Department Open House. Our September 28th meeting focused on plans for the Family Violence Presentation.
The statistics for Puslinch show that Family Violence is a problem in our community and the COP Committee is doing what they can to educate people on how they can help. The information for this all-important community event is:

We hope you can join us.
Apart from our focus on Family Violence, we have continued with our efforts to publicize Road Watch in our community as well as assist the OPP in having it introduced in other Townships in Wellington County.
The COP Committee continues to address many varied concerns from Puslinch residents and these matters are either being dealt with through the OPP or through Township Council. If you have an issue that you would like us to investigate for you, please contact either Glenna Smith (Chair) at 519-824-0217 or plan to attend one of our meetings.
There will be a COP Committee meeting on October 26, 2011 (tomorrow – my fault for the delay, sorry) and the following meeting will be January 25, 2012
