Community Oriented Policing Reports

Sandra Soloman has volunteered to submit reports on the monthly COP Committee meetings.

Our Aim: to inform people of all ages of safety issues that affect us all, in hopes that public awareness will lead to a better and safer quality of life for everyone in Puslinch and area.

Membership: There must be two Councillors and one Police Officer, all other members are volunteers. Anyone who has a concern or interest is welcome to become a member or just attend some meetings.

Our Purpose: - To liaise between the public and police. - Listen and act on safety concerns and suggestions from residents. - Work with the police and council to find find positive solutions. - Offer education on relevant safety concerns and - Beginning in 2010, to run a successful Road Watch Program in the Township.

Editors Note: I'm not sure what happened to the reports for March, April and May. Perhaps there wasn't quorum for the meeting, or I misplaced the e-mail, or it maybe that a reporter was unavailable. Sandra Soloman is now the Secretary of the committe and will be submitting reports starting in June.
