Preparing to have a Web Site Designed
The more preparation you put into planning your web site, the easier it is for me to put it together. When you are surfing the net take note of the things you like, such as, background, layout, colors and fonts. Unless you have something prepared already, such as a brochure, you will need to write the text.
If you have a brochure, that really speeds up the process as I can take the text and images from it.
Once you have the preparation done and a good idea of what you want--contact me. E-mail is the cheapest way to go, but there is also the phone and regular mail, if you don't have e-mail.
Here is a checklist of things I would like you to have ready before I begin to design your website.
Company name, phone numbers, address, e-mail, etc.
Contact name, phone numbers, address, e-mail, etc.
Preferences for color, background texture and layout of the pages
A logo in gif format--or I can have one made
Images in jpeg format--if you don't have images in the proper format I can scan your photos or take new ones with my digital camera
Text--what you want to say
Also, your ISP name and phone number, your URL and password will be required before uploading your site, but I can arrange that, if you don't have one.
