Pricing
If you have read the previous pages you know I charge $40 per hour to design a web site. I quote $500 for a standard site of about three pages (maximum 400 words per page--which is probably too many anyway) 4 images or graphics and 10 links. If you have done your preparation well as I have recommended, it could be less. I don't offer a set fee per page because that depends on what you want and how much preparation you have done.
The bigger (more expensive site designers) charge an additonal fee--often $75 for an additional page--regardless of how simple it might be to design. Or a set price for scanning ($10) and adding a link ($5). I can scan an image in less than 5 minutes and write the code for a link in 30 seconds--I'm not going to charge extra for that. At Iota it is a flat fee of $40 per hour.
These prices are subject to change. As you may have noticed my portfolio is not very large. But, as the business grows and takes more of my time the price will likely increase.
Payment
About half way through the web site design process an interim invoice will be submitted. Once the site is completed and uploaded, final payment is due. Or it can be charged to your credt card.
Once your site is on the internet I can promote it to the search engines for $40.00 per hour. It takes about 2 hours to submit a site to the major search engines.
PLEASE NOTE: for Canadian orders any applicable taxes are included within the quoted price.
