Lines from the Library (June 2001)
By Frankie Shaw
Lost for Words
There's a dearth of words at the library,
Not on the shelves, oh no!
But here, behind the counter,
When told," to Press we must go"!
When pressed for words, they fail me.
I find I have nothing to say,
So I won't write just for the sake of it.
I'll wait ‘til some other day -
When inspiration seizes me,
When the light goes on in my brain -
So take note of the new books we offer,
And please, come back again!
