Pearl Anne with a sibling. She is in the foreground She is having a nibble on Brigitte's ear. Our first Westie was named Asta after the terrier in the The Thin Man novel and film series. So in keeping with this, Pearl is named after the poodle featured in the Spencer novels by Robert B. Parker. The Anne part is for my co-worker who was instrumental in our getting Asta and introducing us to her breeder. And, I still think MacTavish is the quintessential Scottish name.
