 The Aberfoyle Farmers’ Market is Almost Here… On Saturday morning, May 28th, come help us launch the first Aberfoyle Farmers’ Market located at the western end of the new MURF (Optimists’) building on the Puslinch Community Centre grounds. Rain or shine, the open air building with its protective roof over vendors and customers will be THE place to be in Puslinch Township! Farmers and producers will offer many types of food and products: vegetables, fruits, meats, herbs, honey, baked goods, etc. The emphasis at our market will be fresh and local, both organic and non-organic. In the centre of the Market there will be a café that will serve coffee, baked goods and light lunches. Customers can sample some of the produce and then buy from the vendors who actually provide the food at the Cafe. There will be local music entertainment as well. Customers will be able to load their purchases onto market carts and wheel them out to the adjacent parking lot. And the parking is FREE! The Aberfoyle Farmers’ Market will be held every Saturday from May 28th through October 29th, 2011. Our hours are 8am to 1pm. The Puslinch Community Centre and MURF building are just south of the intersection of Wellington County 34 and Brock Rd. South (old Hwy. 6) in the heart of Aberfoyle. The address is 23 Brock Rd.
