My name is Paul Dimock and I am the web site designer at puslinch.net. I have designed a number of small business web sites. My philosophy towards designing a web page is to keep it simple. I find flashing or blinking banners and buttons to be distracting and irritating. Animation and frames have a use, but in moderation. Also, they present problems for users with disabilities and will only work on newer browsers. I do not use a text editor as they can insert much unneeded code and cause the page to load more slowly.

I charge $40 an hour and usually quote $500 as a minimum for a web site. The more preparation you do, the less time I spend. The cheapest way to do this is for you--the client--to e-mail me your layout ideas along with your text and graphics. I will then assemble your web site and post it here on the puslinch.net site so that you can see it and make suggestions for improvement. When the site is complete I will upload it to your URL, or it can be hosted here. Of course changes to the site can be made at any time.
